JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Development and implementation of organizational policies, prepares and maintains employee handbook
• Reviews Human Resources policies for revision as needed based on legal or regulatory conditions
• Champions the oversight of all recruiting and new hire onboarding
• Responsible for talent management and development
• Recommends, evaluates, and participates in staff development.
• Administers compensation, including market analysis of positions, internal equity analysis, and assists in determination of hiring salaries
• Establish and maintain salary ranges that are market competitive and internally equitable to enhance recruitment and retention of employees
• Research and conduct job analysis and job evaluation studies and makes recommendations based on analysis of results
• Negotiates and administers benefit plans to meet organization and employee needs
• Analyze statistical data and reports and monitors HR metrics to identify and develop recommendations for improvement of the organizations performance, policies and practices
• Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements, conducting investigations, maintaining records, and representing the organization at hearings when necessary
• Research regional and national benefit trends making recommendations of company benefits adoptions
• Manage special project schedules, resources, and budgets
• Present project plans and update work teams
• Develop and improve internal processes and functions and provide suggestions for improvement
• Provides coaching and counseling to employees and management in conflict resolution
• Develops and provides training and resources for training to all levels of the organization
• Provides guidance to leaders, managers, and employees on all HR related topics
• Provides coaching to management on employee discipline issues
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing networks, and participating in professional societies.
• Serves as a member of the Executive Leadership Team
• Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES/KNOWLEDGE:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelors degree in Human Resources or equivalent required
• Masters degree in Human Resources Management or Business Administration preferred
• Ten years HR or related field experience
• Ten years experience in managing people

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Directly supervises and manages activities of staff

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:

HRCI or SHRM HR certification preferred.
