Core Responsibilities:
A HR Specialist (Remote) will:
Assist in helping our teams unlock their full career potential. The successful candidate will design and implement hiring strategies that attract, assess, select, and develop great talent that link our team needs and business priorities. 50% of your time will be spent installing processes that will provide an efficient and positive experience for every candidate from application to offer. An additional 25% of your time will be spent helping build customized training and development plans to assist in efficiently growing company skills and abilities. The remaining time will be spent setting strategies that positively shape company culture, ensure continued exceptional customer experiences, and cause L.L. Blue to be innovative leader in human resource development.
Source potential candidates through online channels including social platforms and professional networks.
Coordinate interviews and selections, including screening calls, assessments, reference checks, and final offer.
Coordinate and participate in job fairs and recruitment events to build a strong pipeline of top candidates.
Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as FMLA, compensation, benefits, and resolve any issues that may arise.
Develop a process to foster long-term relationships with high potential past candidates.
Annual review of company policies and documentation of changes/updates.
Development of a company culture that values diverse perspectives, emphasizes high performance, ethics, continuous improvement, and innovative thinking.
Managing teammate compensation, training and development plans, and separation notices and related documentation.
Benefits administration, including involvement in annual enrollment, changes to the current plans, etc.
Qualifications:
3+ years HR experience preferred
Self-starter and willingness to and research and learn areas where knowledge gaps exist.
Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods.
Prior experience sourcing and recruiting technical and/or engineering talent.
Expertise in building talent pipelines.
Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
Familiarity with social media, resume databases, and professional networks for sourcing talent.
Effective program and project management skills.
Effective communication, written and grammar skills, emphasizing attention to detail
Near mastery level knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
PHR or SHRM-CP preferred, but with plans to obtain over the next 2 years.
Must be a U.S. Citizen or green card holder.
Successful completion of drug screen and background check
Education & Experience:
BS or MS in human development, business, or technical field from an accredited college/university or equivalent experience.
Considerable prior experience without a degree but with relevant certifications/credentials is acceptable.
3+ years’ work experience in an environment where you were the driver in implementing human resource recruiting and development strategies.
