Locals is looking for an experienced Front-End Developer to join our team.
About the role:
We are looking for a Front-End Developer to join our application engineering team to further develop our web applications written with the Vue.js framework. You will be responsible for feature development and maintaining existing applications including work on improving the architecture, the UI/UX and general application code working against an existing backend system. Working closely with product management and other developers, you will be crafting an application for use by millions of users.
What you’ll be doing:
Work closely with the designers, product managers, and engineering leadership to build a high quality user experience
Extend and improve existing applications, working closely with other Front-End and Back-End Developers
Work in Vue.js with JavaScript, and web technologies HTML/CSS
Develop automated test infrastructure ensuring application quality (Cypress and other)
What you bring to the table:
3+ years overall front-end development experience, 2+ years with Vue.js experience
Experience building responsive web applications
Experience with CSS and frameworks to create a high-quality look and feel
Strong understanding of JavaScript, and using REST API’s, building easy to maintain applications
Experience creating custom Vue components
Experience with Vue.js and SSR
Strong communicator who collaborates well with cross functional teams
Familiar with agile processes and continuous integration
