Description:Manages the development of the training curriculum, study outlines, and orientation materials to be employed during procedures, simulation, and/or flight training. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Directs instructional sessions, briefings, follow-ups, and proficiency checks on flight simulators in accordance with federal air regulations and company policies and procedures. Oversees trainee progress and recommends qualification or additional training. Insures Courseware design and training effectiveness to provide maximum proficiency. Monitors utilization schedules for training.
Basic duties include:
Manage daily and strategic schedule to meet program and customer requirements.
Develop reports for leadership to support strategic/operational business decisions.
Approve employee timecards, PTO requests, travel requests, expense reports.
Ensure safe work environment for all employees and end users.
Manage employee internal and external training requirements/accomplishments.
Track and report employee performance. Assist employees with personal goal development to support enterprise needs.
Manage employee awards and recognition.
Manage/mitigate business/program risks.
Track programmatic performance metrics.
Chair customer meetings as required by contract.
Develop, QC, and deliver CDRLs per contract requirements
Basic Qualifications:
Strong technical background in management of complex projects or technical organizations. Prior experience managing and supervising technical projects, costs, schedules, policies, and procedures. Must have worked in an environment where candidate was required to interact with multiple functional areas of a diverse nature. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel required. Must be capable of attaining a SECRET clearance. Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.

Desired Skills:
Experience managing CBA represented employees
Experience with USAF programs/Air Mobility Command
Experience/Credentials in Instructional System Design
