Position Summary
The Human Resource Generalist is responsible for performing broad professional human resources tasks to support policies and programs including recruiting, employee relations, benefit programs, performance management, organization development, and HRIS.
Responsibilities

· Oversee the day-to-day support of Human Resources (HR) transactions
· Helps drive the execution and periodic analysis of regular, ongoing HR processes and programs
· Provides guidance and support to business partners and associates on all HR-related issues.
· Serves as lead on various HR projects, such as documenting policies and procedures, updating HR manuals and identifying/implementing process improvements
· Work with supervisors to approve timesheets and PTO requests.
· Engage with PEO to enter, submit, and approve payroll.
· Fulfills staffing needs for exempt and non-exempt job openings; assists with sourcing and identifying talent, conducts job interviews and coordinates hiring manager interviews and facilitates the candidate hiring process.
· Assist management with writing effective and accurate job descriptions, requisition process and approval, salary administration, etc.
· Collaborates with corporate business partners and assists in the management, administration and communication of employee benefits, such as health and welfare benefit plans, policies on time away from work and leave of absences including FMLA, Workers’ Compensation, and Disability.
· Participates with recruiting programs, interviewing, screening, evaluating and selecting qualified applicants as needed.
· Utilizes various systems/tools to track HR issues, identify trends, measure progress and analyze data. Compiles information and generates reports as needed.
· Ability to utilize and recognize ways to improve workflow efficiency and implement change.
· Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resource Management or related field) preferred or equivalent work experience.
· Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR generalist / business partner capacity with expertise in employee relations and recruiting.
· Experience working with MS Office applications and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS); demonstrated experience gathering data, pulling systemic reporting, manipulating data/ formatting reporting in Excel and preparing presentation of information.
· Previous HR experience in supporting corporate, sales or multi-state operations preferred.
· Strong project management skills with the ability to effectively lead department-level initiatives within defined timelines with specific deliverables.
· A solid understanding of standard concepts, practices and procedures within the employee relations field including EEO, FLSA, FMLA, ADAAA.
· Professional maturity and demeanor, strong work ethic and the ability to manage multiple priorities, drive results and work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively and build positive/effective business partnerships.
