MECHANIC WANTED
Job Overview
The mechanic’s main objective is to properly and cost-effectively service vehicles, while maintaining our customers positive experience with Lubrication Station, Inc. The mechanic will need to diagnose & correct any deficiencies on a variety of makes and models, provide full-service capabilities from a routine oil change to a complete engine overhaul, and thoroughly communicate with the rest of our team and customers.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Perform major & minor repairs on all makes and models of vehicles
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance
• Mechanical and electrical diagnosis & repair
• Computer troubleshooting & repair
• Exhaust/chassis/drive-line diagnosis & repair
• Read & interpret diagnostic test results from diagnostic equipment
• Proper/safe use of shop equipment
• Keeps work area clean and organized at all times
• Applies basic knowledge of the job skills and company policies and procedures to complete a variety of assignments/tasks
• Works on assignments that are routine to moderately complex in nature and require efficient problem resolution and independent judgment
• Organizes own tasks and receives general instructions on all work
• Keeps accurate and thorough maintenance records of all work performed
• Other responsibilities as assigned

We seek responsible individuals who meet ALL of the following criteria:

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience and/or 2+ years related experience in a full-service automotive shop with references
• Possess a valid Driver’s License
• Strong communication and computer skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Welding and light metal fabrication skills
• Excellent technical aptitude & problem-solving skills
• Ability to stay current on technology & industry trends

MUST HAVE YOUR OWN TOOLS
Applicants must have the ability to perform strenuous physical labor. This position requires standing, bending, and frequent lifting of up to 70 pounds.
Opportunities for raises determined by workmanship.
Full time hours are Monday through Friday from 8am until 5pm.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
