Mackenzie Sturt is partnered with a globally-leading crop protection business who are in search of a Director of Logistics to oversee North American logistics activities. The ideal candidate should be agile and able to support the business in the redesigning of their logistics network.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement logistics strategy
- Manage logistics spend
- Lead the logistics team, including 5 direct reports
- Manage all trucking, bulk and rail fleet programs
- Coordinate logistics partners and suppliers
- Handle all contracts related to 3PL and new suppliers
Qualifications
- Extensive experience across logistics and supply chain
- Experience managing teams and direct reports
- Experience in inventory management
- Experience developing and restructuring teams and logistics/transportation strategies
- Certifications – Sig Sigma, APICS
- Ability to travel extensively
