Job Overview:
The Specialist, Compensation will conduct advanced analysis focusing on trends in pay and incentive programs. This position requires strong collaboration with compensation and business partners. Key responsibilities include understanding business objectives in order to develop supporting compensation plans, creating predictive analytical models to assess impact of changes, and summarizing market research for compensation best practices. The specialist will also support pilot and test-and learn initiatives and provide support in researching/analyzing/resolving compensation issues.
The colleague is also responsible for performing other duties as assigned.
Essential Functions:
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Assist in development of programs that support the goals and initiatives of the businesses.
Develop and maintain comprehensive reporting in support of compensation and business needs.
Support compensation team through analysis to understand financial implications of pilots, test-and-learn initiatives, new programs, and policies to meet changing business/talent needs.
Translate analytics and reports into insights to influence decision making.
Work independently with business partners to resolve compensation issues.
Study the trends and ROI of the compensation programs and assist in development of programs to motivate measurable performance.
Ability to query data within complex databases to collect data for analysis and reporting.

Qualifications and Competencies:
Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year college or university
1-2 years direct experience
Advanced Excel skills required.
Experience in an analytical environment with manipulation of large data sets required.
Practices open and continuous communication, values keeping others informed, effectively presenting information in a clear, concise manner.
Excellent leadership, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across functional lines and at many levels.
Ability to think creatively, strategically and technically
Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and Company needs.
Physical Requirements:
May require working with multiple computer screens and programs simultaneously for extended periods of time.
May Involve, reaching stooping, kneeling or crouching
Frequently lift/move up to 10 lbs.
