Makers Line Hiring for Entry Level Construction Accountant Job at Salt Lake City, UT Full Time

Makers Line is a multifaceted general contractor, subcontractor, and fabrication shop. We are currently looking for an Entry Level Accountant for our growing team in Salt Lake City!

Makers Line specializes in adaptive re-use, new build commercial, and custom interior projects. With a clear understanding of project timelines, we construct buildings for long term use. We are a team of multi-disciplined individuals who can efficiently complete projects within scope while understanding the needs of development stakeholders. By self-performing at the highest level, our team bridges information seamlessly from meetings to the field, and we understand how to thoughtfully exercise in the gray. Our portfolio includes a wide range of completed projects, including modern workspaces, food and beverage concepts, multi-tenant living environments, and artisan focal points.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Accurately enter job accounts payable and receivable
• Project reconciliations
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Enter journal entries
• Support project managers as needed
• Work with the Project Accountant and Controller on ad hoc requests

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Excel, G Suite, Adobe, and Word
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and work within timeframes of the accounting cycle
• 1-2 years of related experience
• Ability to communicate effectively to resolve problems
• Highly self-motivated with ability to work independently and as a team
• Willingness to learn and ability to multi-task
• Understanding of Construction Job Costing is a plus
• Experience using Procore and Sage 300 is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour
