Coachella Valley Association of Governments (CVAG) – (Position grade: $73,823 – $116,999 annually, plus a generous paid benefits package including PPO/HMO.) Full-time position, under the direction of the Director of Energy and Sustainability, coordinates environmental programs including energy, solid waste and recycling, sustainability, renewable resources, and other programs. Unique opportunity to help implement forward-thinking programs such as community choice energy and a regional energy network. Ideal candidate has strong analytical skills to evaluate program effectiveness and forecasting; can review contractual and regulatory documents; maintain complex program records; assess operational issues, reach practical conclusions, and implement effective solutions; and has strong communication skills. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree or similar equivalent in related field; knowledge of environmental and energy sustainability programs; and knowledge of clean renewable energy distribution is a plus.
