Maple Hall Academy is seeking a full time Ceramic Arts Teacher. This is a unique opportunity with small classes of 8-12 middle school students. The campus is located in Lexington, VA.
Salary Scale: $34,400 – $56,328
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Summary
The Ceramic Arts Teacher is responsible for creating and implementing appropriate lessons for the student population based on the MHA Curriculum Guide and Performance Standards. The Teacher will also maintain a physically and emotionally safe environment for students while adhering to the structure of the daily schedule. MHA Teachers will work in conjunction with other academic team members, clinicians, and direct care staff with the supervision, implementation, and facilitation of classroom activities, while identifying and intervening in potential crisis situations.
