Our company is currently seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join our dedicated and driven team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in analyzing benefit expenses, researching and analyzing HR topics, and administering payroll. This position requires a detailed-oriented individual who is capable of collaborating with a team and working well under pressure.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure Federal and state labor law and regulatory compliance.
- Implement, update, and maintain company policies and procedures, as well as ensure all personnel has a working knowledge of these, along with industry-specific knowledge.
- Monitor and communicate with co-workers to ensure that they are following the appropriate policies and procedures.
- Handle recruitment tasks: creating/posting available positions online, reviewing employment applications, and screening candidates to determine if they meet the minimum job requirements.
- Perform pre-employment screenings, such as background checks and/or coordinating drug screenings.
- Provide support and guidance to all company personnel throughout their entire employment life cycle.
- Process and maintain employment, leave & attendance, and payroll records.
- Monitor and negotiate with internal departments or external companies (when applicable) to ensure our employees will function in a safe and efficient work environment.
- Ensure identification and notification of Worker’s Compensation to management and assist third-party administrators regarding claims management.
- Complete special assignments and projects as identified by the General Manager, in support of the Company’s strategic business objectives, including, but not limited to domestic and international growth.
- Evaluate and oversee vendors that provide supplemental HR processes and services.
- Advise management on new approaches to improve employee engagement, department efficiencies, and services performed.
REQUIREMENTS
- Strong understanding of health insurance, vision, medical, and dental plans
- Effectively interact, both verbally and in writing, with all company personnel, tax authorities, and outside agencies in a diplomatic manner.
- Capable and willing to meet critical company deadlines
- Time management and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented, diligent, autonomous, and proactive
And one of the following:
- MA or MS in HR Management (or equivalent) and 1+ year of experience,
- BA or BS in HR Management (or equivalent) and 2+ years of experience, or
- PHRca (active) and 4+ years of experience
DESIRED SKILLS
- Ability to monitor and identify potential risks to company culture; providing objective, logical solutions to prevent or minimize risk.
- ADP, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office
- Bilingual Spanish
- Experience in manufacturing preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,655.00 – $78,546.00 per year

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
