MarketTime/Brandwise, based in Littleton, CO and Dallas, TX provides powerful technology tools for sales agencies, field sales rep, and suppliers in the wholesale home and gift industry. Our product suite includes digital presentation tools, intuitive order capture tools, B2B eCommerce websites, and robust reporting data. We started 25 years ago as a small team with a big dream. As the newest member of our data services team, we will look to you as the resident expert for onboarding new customers utilizing ETL techniques in SQL Server and MySQL. Your talent for keeping your eyes on the detail is a critical quality that you must have to ensure your stakeholders are taken care of. You can identify and solve both internal and external support issues and are a natural problem solver who takes pride in in your work.
*Please note we are looking for candidates who currently reside in the state of Colorado, Minnesota, New York, Indiana, or Texas.
Requirements
What you will be doing:
- Working on data migrations to and from customer systems and data sources to SQL Server or MySQL databases to support the onboarding of new customers to MarketTime.
- Providing advanced and escalated technical support with occasional on-call requirements – we are a small but mighty team that pitches in wherever we can.
- Supporting customer inquiries professionally and timely, our reputation depends on it.
- Comfortable writing scripts and stored procedures as needed.
- Supporting our current backend databases ensuring optimal performance.
- Maintaining, enhancing, and updating all instances, standard DBA stuff.
- Monitoring performance, storage availability and responding to MSSQL database alerts.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of professional experience as a production DBA on SQL Server and MySQL.
- Experience implementing SQL server database backups, restores and recovery models.
- An understanding of source control repository; preferably TFS and Jira.
- Ability to work independently, implementing and executing a plan to completion.
- Proficient in writing SQL statements for analysis and manipulation of data.
- Creative, articulate, and competent communication style – you deliver your message clearly, concisely, and confidently every time.
- Respectfully confident; you know your stuff but enjoy brainstorming with others for the best outcome.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $63,990.00 – $85,000.00 per year
