The Human Resources Manager is a member of the Consumer, Development, Design and Operations (CDDO) HR team and contributes to the execution of business priorities that span the organization. A key function of this role will be to drive regular reporting activities and HR updates for the CDDO organization and HR Team. This role requires attention to detail and a talent for problem solving. Our team achieves results by being innovative, driven, and collaborative.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience Required

• High school diploma or GED; 4 years of experience in the human resources, management operations, or related professional area OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related major; 2 years of experience in the human resources, management operations, or related professional area.
• Advanced skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Education and Experience Preferred

• Sound knowledge of local labor laws and government requirements
• Understanding of HR concepts and principles
• Strong interest in innovative HR solutions and process improvement
• Experience with HRMS systems and applications
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage priorities and meet deadlines
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills
• Strong customer service focus, with a high level of responsiveness
• Supportive team player with a strong drive to create a positive work environment
• Applies good judgement ensuring integrity, compliance and confidentiality

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

Managing Processes and Projects

• Assists in the execution of human resource initiatives and strategies sharing HR systems knowledge/expertise.
• Develops and enhances regular HR reporting capabilities and processes, independently or in partnership with HR team.
• Prepares annual HR process timelines and communication materials (e.g., annual compensation process, annual performance review, engagement survey registration, etc.)
• Works with team to develop and document sustainable work processes and systems that support the execution of HR programs and processes. Supports efforts to drive operational efficiencies across CDDO HR processes. Identifies opportunities for improvement in work processes and makes recommendations for improvement. Drives execution of HR Cyclical programs for CDDO organization.
• Manages compliance reporting and related communications with support from HR Centers of Expertise (e.g., required training, performance management processes, engagement survey action planning).
• Maintains accurate associate employment data using applicable HR systems (e.g., mHUB). Maintains and protects confidential data with utmost scrutiny, judgement, and care.
• Acts as a liaison between CDDO HR team, HR Services and Centers of Expertise in researching and trouble-shooting issues related to data management, benefits, payroll, and other HR processes.
• Works with team to develop and document sustainable work processes and systems that support the execution of HR programs and processes. Supports efforts to drive operational efficiencies across CDDO HR processes. Identifies opportunities for improvement in work processes and makes recommendations for improvement.
• Drives HR update communications and weekly CDDO HR team meeting agendas and action items.
• Assists with Talent Acquisition Activities (e.g., job description reviews, job posting)
• Coordinates and implements work and projects as assigned.
• Complies with Federal and State laws applying to procedures.
