We are a team that manages a total of eight Mathnasium centers in CA and WA. We offer math tutoring and homework help to K-12 students. We are passionate about helping kids improve and excel in math through our year-round and summer-only math programs.
We are looking for a Staffing Coordinator to help meet the growing demand of our staff. Working closely with the Management Team and all Instructor Staff, the Staffing Coordinator is a growing role in our entrepreneurial organization. This person will own the screening and selecting newly hired staff member, as well as attracting sufficient candidates to all open positions.
The Staffing Coordinator is accountable for acquiring talents, screening, hiring new employees, including but not limited to marketing openings, outreach to potential talents, screening and interviewing candidates, communicate company culture and improve employee experience, as well as collaboration and interaction with existing staff and customers.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, outgoing, warm and approachable, possesses excellent communication and organizational skills, and is results-driven. A partial list of responsibilities includes:
Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process
Screens applications and selects qualified candidates
Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials
Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews
Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of Mathnasium’s service offerings, company culture and daily operation tasks and processes
Stay on top of the hiring needs for all managed locations and adjust hiring strategy accordingly
Create programs to attract, maintain and improve employee satisfaction
Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
Highly motivated, team-oriented, experience working in fast-paced environments, detail-oriented, adaptable, organized with exceptional follow-through
Strong commitment to providing a high standard of customer experience
Ability to manage multiple projects effectively
1-3 years of career experience to communicate effectively and professionally both in oral and written communications
Excellent written and spoken communicator
Tech-savvy with experience in Google Suites required
High School degree required
Associate Degree in human resources, communications, psychology or business administration preferred
This is a part-time position with growth opportunities for full time. Working hours flexible but need to cover 1pm-5pm or 3pm-7pm (Pacific Time) on weekdays.
Work hours: 20-30 hours per week flexible
Pay: $25-$30/hour
