Maxar is seeking a Geospatial Analyst to join our team at a customer-site in Tampa, FL. In this role, you will join a talented team of analysts using geospatial techniques to provide time sensitive, innovative analytics to mission-critical partners and combatant commands.
Your Project: We are a growing team of geospatial and intelligence professionals analyzing large-scale data sets and developing innovative analytic techniques and methods to fuse various data sources together and extract findings critical to the intelligence and defense communities. You will analyze the outputs of these methods to deliver insights to the customer, develop and pitch new analytic methodologies, and provide feedback on the process to increase the quality of the outputs.

Day-to-Day:
Collaborate with your peers to share expertise and develop innovative concepts.
Work closely with the customer and team lead on quick-turn RFIs to decision makers
Develop new methodologies and skillsets that contribute to the mission
Identify and exploit new data sources that demonstrate value to the program
Minimum Requirements:
At least 5 years of relevant, professional experience (years of experience may be excluded in lieu of appropriate education), including:at least 4 years in analysis for the intelligence or defense communities
4 years GIS experience (ArcGIS Desktop, ArcPro, and/or QGIS)
Must hold a current TS/SCI clearance and be willing and able to obtain CI polygraph
Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field (or 4 additional years of experience)
Preferred Skills:
Nice to Have or You’re Willing to Learn
Demonstrated proficiency in geospatial analysis using ArcGIS Desktop, Arc Pro, Google Earth, ERDAS IMAGINE, and/or QGIS
Foundational knowledge of developmental environments to include SQL, Python, and/or JavaScript
Advanced understanding of digital cartography, Geographical Information Systems (GIS), remote sensing (multi-spectral), and/or digital data formats
Experience in supporting FINTEL production at DIA or similar national intelligence agencies
Experience briefing findings to senior government and/or corporate leadership.
