The HR Coordinator must be able to maintain the highest level of confidentiality and will be responsible for departmental development, employment, recruiting and staffing logistics, employee orientation, training and development, benefits administration, record keeping, employee relations, payroll, assisting company managers/supervisors with HR issues. Mayco is a Union facility.
Candidate must have a B.S. degree in related field, 5+ years of experience in a Union environment, recruiting/staffing experience, payroll knowledge, detail-oriented, leadership skills, communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, computer skills.
Candidate will be responsible for maintaining employee compensation packages; maintaining employee HR and Safety files/records in paper form; assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes; conduct employee onboarding (including safety awareness); coordinate employee benefit eligibility, enrollments, terminations, payroll deductions and incentives; FMLA administration; create and maintain job descriptions; assist in development and implementation of human resources policies; ensure compliance with state and federal agencies; payroll processing; AAP and ACA reporting; administration and supervision of all employee benefit changes
