McCarthy Building Companies is looking for motivated Laborers and apprentice Carpenters for an exciting project in Hawkinsville, GA. This role supports the completion of projects by assisting carpenters, and other trades professionals.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participate in Task Hazard Analysis (THA) meetings

• Work in an organized manner

• Learn common construction materials

• Participate in certification courses (spotter, flagger, osha 10, fire watch etc.)

• Utilize common construction materials, hand tools, and power tools (hammer, shovel, measuring tape…etc.)

• Assist other trades when necessary

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven commitment to Safety

• Able to night shifts when needed

• Must have reliable transportation to/from the job site

• Ability to work independently and follow instructions

• Must be self-motivated and can work well with others

• Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency

• Minimum age 18+

• Ability to perform heavy lifting/pushing/pulling of material weighing 50 pounds

• Ability to squat, crawl and work in confined spaces

• Proof of Identity and Employment Authorization
