McLeod Center is currently accepting applications for a Part-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work in its MAT program in Monroe, NC. This position is as needed so hours are flexible.
What does this position do for the agency?
The position is responsible for the following, with other duties as assigned:
The LPN works under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Medical Doctor. Duties include taking vital signs, medication administration and documentation, observation of client behaviors, and assistance with physical examinations are included, along with other nursing functions as sanctioned by the North Carolina State Board of Nursing.
What kind of education and experience is needed?
Licensed by the North Carolina Board of Nursing as an LPN or holds a license with multi-state practice privileges by authority of the Nurse Licensure Compact. No prior experience necessary; we will train!
Clinic operates Monday to Friday, 5:00 am – 12:30 pm, and Saturday to Sunday, 6:00 am – 9:00 am.
