Advanced Practice Nurse Provides primary and specialty health care services within defined scope of practice in collaboration with a licensed physician and in accordance with MCW/Froedtert Health policies and procedures. | Department Position Purpose The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) works as part of a multidisciplinary health care team, providing a broad range of diagnostic and therapeutic services for the patients of the inpatient services as a member of the Department of Medicine – Division of General Internal Medicine. The APP will have a strong foundation in evidence based practice and ensure an environment of safe quality care. | |||

Workweek: | Scheduling flexibility required to provide for an appropriate level of patient care coverage. May require evening or weekend hours in the future based on business needs] Generally, Monday-Sunday 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on an alternating schedule: 7 on 7 off (one week, one week off) |

Minimum Education: | Advanced Practice Nurse Master’s Degree or higher in Nursing |
Physician Assistant Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Physician Assistant Studies | |
Prior Experience: | Zero years of experienced required |
Preferred Experience: | APP experience and/or experience in inpatient, internal medicine or hospital medicine |

Work requires considerable variety of fairly steady active physical exertion with some and/or continuous standing or walking.
