• • The hiring team works on various accounting projects in TFS and they’re looking for a candidate who’ll be responsible for supporting the accounting responsibilities for their group.
  • They’re looking for candidate with at least 3-5 years of strong foundation in accounting, having corporate accounting experience, be a business partner who can be flexible to work with different groups.

Required Skills –

• • Experience in Operational Accounting, posting journal entries, reconciliation, etc.
  • Experience in streamlining and process improvement within projects and should be able to demonstrate their experience.
  • Public Accounting and Private industry experience and having past experience being an auditor.
  • SOX compliance.

Location: Work from home from any Toyota approved states. Hiring team works from TFS Office in Plano, TX and if the candidate is local then they may ask them to work from office at least once a month.

Duration: 6 months; hiring team needs the candidate to support their group for 6 months as a business partner/contingent worker. After 6 months, in case there are any other projects available within the same department or others, they may try to align the candidate with such projects resulting in the contract going beyond 6 months.

What We’re Looking For

The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure accurate and timely preparation and delivery of financial results in conformity with US GAAP and IFRS while supporting department and company-wide initiatives to develop our business and grow internal capabilities.

What You’ll Be Doing

• • Ensuring all daily and month accounting activities are completed
  • Performing timely preparation and/or review of all journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Maintaining and operating effective internal controls as well as thorough procedural documentation
  • Coordinate internal and external audit requests
  • Understand and apply US GAAP and implement new accounting guidance when necessary
  • Participate in financial reporting process for preparing quarterly and annual financial statements as well as the quarterly submissions to Japan
  • Support key company and department initiatives
  • Propose and implement improvements to existing analyses and develop additional analyses and activity metrics to meet changing business and informational needs
  • Provide training, developing and support for other team members, either through direct assignment or indirect team leadership
• Requirements:

• • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or other analytical degree with equivalent work experience
  • Public accounting experience
  • Experience in accounting financial reporting, or other relevant experience with progressively increasing responsibilities
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem solving skills in closing process gaps and resolving issues
  • Proficiency with MS Excel and advanced functionality
  • Demonstrated aptitude with a desire to learn and apply emerging technologies
