Responsibilities:
The Analyst will work with the Benefits team to ensure compliance with Plan Documents and legal requirements, will prepare reports and analysis related to retirement plans; will maintain documents related to retirement plans and employees; will fund retirement plan contributions with our vendor; will prepare and fund retirement plan employer matching contribution contributions; and will consult with employees on retirement plan enrollment and related questions.
Other activities would include participation in presenting new employee orientation, assisting with Open Enrollment, and other benefit related projects.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources or finance preferred (Must possess a high school diploma or GED)
1 – 3 Years of experience in the administration on various retirement plans, including 401(k) and 403(b) Plans and experience in healthcare setting preferred.
CEBS designation or courses towards CEBS designation a plus.
Must be detailed oriented and have attention to accuracy.
Must possess strong mathematical skills.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Must have general knowledge of federal/state laws governing retirement plans.
Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language in an understandable manner.
Must be able to work independently and possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
Must possess the ability to effectively communicate and deal tactfully with other personnel, visitors, patients, physicians, customers, and the general public.
Must be flexible, have personal integrity, and the ability to function effectively as a team with other employees.
Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize one or more of the following:
Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel
Microsoft Outlook
Meditech (if applicable to position)
Epic (if applicable to position)
