Description:
The HR Business Partner provides coaching, training, and consultation on items related to culture, change management, employee relations, leadership onboarding and development, talent management, employee feedback processes, and employee experience. This position is expected to contribute to the overall performance of the department team with minimal supervision. This position will partner closely with the Vice President of Human Resources and our HR Employee Support Team.
The HR Business Partner provides coaching, training, and consultation on items related to culture, change management, employee relations, leadership onboarding and development, talent management, employee feedback processes, and employee experience. This position is expected to contribute to the overall performance of the department team with minimal supervision. This position will partner closely with the Vice President of Human Resources and our HR Employee Support Team.
Responsibilities:
Designs, delivers, and evaluates different elements of culture and employee experience
Assists with communicating and providing feedback on the efficacy and effectiveness of HR programs, processes, and systems.
Works closely with assigned client groups on people-related matters.
Utilizes independent judgment, confidentiality, and discretion in confidential matters including including conducting investigations, mediating disputes, and performance related coaching.
Acts as a talent development partner through the facilitation and support of onboarding, staffing, succession planning, performance review process, and other employee-facing programs.
Leverages our HR Technology Platforms to guide decisions and provide insights to business leaders.
Resolves escalated issues involving transactional activities related to leaves of absence, benefits, compensation, and payroll in partnership with the HR Support Team.
Regularly identifies opportunities for process improvements and is able to facilitate long-term process change.
Assists with culture-building initiatives and activities
. Requirements:
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business plus 3 to 5 years of HR experience; or equivalent combination of education and human resources experience as an HR Business Partner.
Expert-level communicator, verbally and written via face-to-face and virtual environment
Advanced-level skills with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience using Paylocity
Prior experience supporting employees based in Right To Work States including California
Prior experience with workplace health and safety
Prior experience working with HR professional services
Certification in Human Resources (SHRM or HRCI) or Change Management (PROSCI)
