Job Summary:

The Assistant Controller position is responsible for supporting the Accounting operations of the Company. The position will work closely with the Controller on maintaining an effective control environment and ensuring reported results are in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.

What you will be doing:

• Supporting the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close
• Working closely with management to develop insightful management financial reporting that’s valuable in the decision-making process
• Researching technical accounting issues and preparing memos documenting compliance with generally accepted accounting principles
• Evaluating accounting and internal control systems
• Directly manage the Accounts Receivable team
• Supporting the Treasury function including cash forecasting and debt covenant compliance
• Managing the annual audit with external auditors
• Developing and monitoring business performance metrics
• Supporting the risk and insurance programs

What You Need For This Position:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, MBA or MAcc preferred
• 7+ years’ experience as a senior-level accounting or finance manager
• Certified Public Accountant preferred
• Public Accounting experience preferred
• Proven experience on streamlining accounting processes and working in a fast paced, growing environment
• Exceptional communication, technology, analytical and leadership skills
• Strong working knowledge of detailed financial data analysis and strong technical accounting skills
• Exemplary history of financial project management
