This position is accountable for assisting the Assistant Chief Officer, manage and conduct investigations and/or studies of fraud, abuse, mismanagement, employee rights violations, violence in the workplace, concerning all NYC Transit and MTA Bus operations, facilities, and employees. Performs investigations/studies including but not limited to issues such as employee misconduct, workplace violence, revenue fraud, theft of service, etc. Prepares preliminary executive-level reports which recommend the implementation of corrective action(s) to prevent fraud, abuse and mismanagement. Serves as liaison with law enforcement agencies, MTA agencies and outside government agencies concerning external investigations.
