MHP Americas Inc. is seeking an organized and driven person to join our growing team. In this role, Human Resources Coordinator aids with and facilitates the human resource processes at MHP. This role provides administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including record keeping, file maintenance, and HRIS entry.
Maintain and update various spreadsheets, files, audits and databases.
Requests new hire I-9 documentation for files during onboarding and re-verification.
Prepare, review, audit, and/or process HR-related information, following prescribed internal process and program requirements
Assist with employee onboarding while creating a great new employee experience
Assists with processing of terminations and process incoming off-boarding requests utilizing knowledge of applicable state and local regulations.
Assists with the preparation of the performance review process.
Assists with recruitment and interview process. Tracks the status of candidates in HRIS and responds with follow-up letters at the end of the recruiting process.
Schedules meetings and interviews as requested by the Head of HR.
Makes photocopies; emails, scans, and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions.
Files documents into appropriate employee files.
Assists or prepares correspondence as requested.
Prepares new-hire profiles.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High School Diploma (min. requirement)
3-5 years of experience in clerical and administrative support, with a strong preference for experience in HR operations support or a BS degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field in lieu of experience.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Ability to complete tasks with minimal guidance and to work under pressure to meet deadlines
Self–motivation and team-playing skills
This position requires a precise, adaptable individual with a flexible approach to working hours
