Job Description

Responsibilities of the SVP, Head of People include:

• Serve as the US Head of Human Resources supporting 100+ staff members through the HR life-cycle (on-boarding, off-boarding, training & development, talent management, performance management, recruitment, diversity equity & inclusion, employee relations, employee engagement)
• Manage and mentor a team of 4 human resources professionals; ensure their professional development within the firm
• Partner with global and US based executive leadership to cultivate HR strategy both domestically and internationally
• Benchmark talent, oversee recruitment policies and procedures, manage external vendor relationships
• Ensure best practices and uphold company values
• Conduct employee surveys and meetings to prioritize professional development and retention
• Liaise with global human resources leaders and teams
• High level oversight of visas & immigration, HR compliance, benefits & wellness, compensation and payroll
• Partner with internal and external vendors to ensure leadership training, professional development and diversity training

The Successful Applicant

The successful SVP, Head of People candidate will have:

• 15-20 years minimum human resources experience; 6+ in an HR leadership capacity
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Experience working within a global financial services institution is required
• People management experience is required
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills
• Ability to liaise with senior leaders in the US and internationally
• Excellent attention to detail; experience in problem solving in a fast-paced environment
