Summary: Provides organization-wide coordination and administrative support in all areas of Human Resources including but not limited to; recruiting, benefits, HR compliance, employee relations, project management, policies and procedures, and other Garden employee programs. Also provides administrative support of the Human Resources Department and the Vice President of Human Resources. Assists HR team members with administration and implementation of programs and projects. Responds appropriately to employee inquiries and directs to appropriate staff and external resources.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Assists VP HR with compiling and researching confidential data researching issues, preparing reports, handling information requests. May perform other functions such as handling phone calls, arranging conference calls, and scheduling meetings. * Assists VP HR with preparing presentations, reports, and various correspondence related to leadership, Board, and Committee meetings. * Assists the VP, HR with departmental project management.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position does not have supervisory responsibilities. Competencies: * Communication: Combines listening skills, verbal and written communication skills, and visitor relation skills. * Collaboration: Incorporates teamwork, mutual respect, active engagement, cooperation, and visitor focus. * Accountability: Initiative to take ownership of responsibilities, the ability to prioritize, and the working knowledge and skills to take action.
Proof of vaccination will be required. * The requirements and duties listed are representative and not exhaustive of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilities required. Education: * H.S. diploma or equivalent required.
Mathematical Skills: * Requires ability to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division; calculate percentages and decimals. Reasoning Ability: * Requires proficient ability to exercise independent judgment to apply facts and principles for developing approaches and techniques to problem resolution. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: * PHR Certification a plus. Physical Demands: * Ability to utilize computer keyboard (typing).
