- Executing automotive mechanic duties to repair and maintain vehicles in a good and functional condition
- Identifying and noting down the defects of vehicle systems
- Repairing and examining the performance of automotive vehicles
- Interacting with car owners on defects as necessary
- Repairing brakes, exhaust, hydraulic, electrical suspension and fuel ignition of vehicles
- Analyzing, identifying, and repairing electrical suspensions, and wheel alignments of vehicles
- Maintaining and managing work tools, while also ensuring that equipment and machinery are in good condition
- Providing details on future maintenance sessions needed and advising the service writer on the maintenance and management of vehicles to relay to the customer
- Staying up to date with the latest vehicle trends
- Must have own tools
- NYS Inspection license required
- Alignment experience preferred
- Pay based on verified work experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 – $25.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Batavia, NY 14020: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:
- automotive repair: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- NYS Inspection License (Preferred)
