SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Head of Learning & Development will be responsible for identifying and assessing the training needs across the Firm; building, implementing, and maintaining a best-in-class training, learning, and development system; and developing strong internal relationships across the Firm while championing the Firm’s culture. This person will have a track record and demonstrated expertise recruiting all-star talent and building and implementing competency-based learning and performance systems. Areas of subject matter expertise include design, improvement, and implementation of training programs, onboarding, and leadership development. This person will collaborate with senior management to enable the Firm to meet its strategic hiring and learning and development objectives in order to support and enable double-digit revenue growth over the next five years.
The Head of Learning & Development will specifically be required to:
· Develop and lead effective metrics-driven strategies, on-boarding plans, along with training and development programs for all resources involved across the firm to include research, search execution, administration, and client management.
· Facilitate in-house training courses/seminars, manage virtual learning and training. Initiate and oversee operational projects including training materials, online manuals, and surveys.
· Design, develop, implement, and manage a world-class/best-in-class Morgan Samuels Academy training, learning, and development system focused on enabling and supporting double-digit revenue growth over the next five years.
· Identify critical metrics and tools to evaluate team member performance across all levels of the Firm and build robust performance and leadership evaluation processes to facilitate feedback, growth, and knowledge gap identification.
· Develop the content for training and development and the critical knowledge to be captured for all levels to rapidly accelerate team member capability, knowledge, and promotion potential.
· Train and empower managers and leaders to effectively develop their respective teams.
· Develop roadmap for growth from most junior level through most senior level and effectively reduce average time for promotion.
· Inspire unity and develop strong lines of communication within the Firm; specifically partner with Morgan Samuels’ senior management and other Firm leadership on talent management and organizational development priorities.
· Help cultivate, develop, and drive MSC team member engagement and team building across the Firm and in the workplace across a fully remote work environment. Champion culture initiatives focused on strengthening relationships between remote employees and facilitating a collaborative and positive employee experience.
