About the Role: The Sr Manager, Talent Acquisition & Diversity will lead MYR Group’s talent and diversity strategy to recruit top industry talent supporting the Company’s vision. This role is responsible for designing, leading and executing strategies and processes that deliver internal and external recruiting results to meet the organization’s short and long-term business needs, and ensuring that the delivery of the services is integrated with business goals. This individual will implement continuous development of diversity and inclusion strategies and will further the department’s mission of “Empowering Growth by Connecting People.”
This position will be located at our Thornton, Colorado office, and we offer a hybrid schedule with 2 days of work from home and 3 days in the office per week.

Essential Functions
- Recruitment Program Management
- Lead company-wide talent acquisition and sourcing programs and initiatives for identifying, engaging, and hiring the best talent. Act as working manager to identify and fill senior management and/or executive roles
- Lead Talent Acquisition team in continuous improvement and quality performance of best practices from attraction through onboarding
- Act as matrix manager, providing guidance, training, and mentorship for subsidiary field recruitment staff, ensuring program consistency and legal compliance
- Provide support for onboarding program, including training and process improvement
- Diversity Recruitment & Pipelining Programs
- Develop critical talent programs to include the internal employee mobility program, military hiring, emerging talent/student attraction, and onboarding programs:
- Support and develop school career fair talent search and pipelines
- Create and foster relationships diversity focused associations and career organizations
- Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Program
- Manage DEI organizational goals, including employee resource groups (ERG), and diversity recruitment strategy
- Support Talent Acquisition Partners in diversity initiatives supporting company goals
- Recruitment Marketing
- Manage ongoing creative and cost-effective employer branding strategies
- Enrich our “Careers” website and social media accounts with multimedia, posts and employee testimonials, coordinate employer branding activities
- Share job ads online (job boards, social media groups, professional communities). Host and participate in job fairs and other career events
- Partner with the internal marketing team on strategic marketing campaigns
- Reporting and Analytics
- Compile, monitor and report critical recruiting metrics, such as time-to-fill, cost per hire, employee retention, etc
- Ensure data and analytics are effectively leveraged, providing monthly reports for HR Leadership and quarterly updates to the Executive Management Committee and Board of Directors
- Systems and Vendor Management
- Act as system administrator for the applicant tracking, career website, CRM, and onboarding platform
- Manage recruitment vendor relationships, including 3rd party recruitment firms
- Compliance
- Ensure adherence to all federal and state laws and regulations governing the employment and pre-employment screening processes, including OFCCP, EEOC, and AAP
- Effectively forecast costs and manage department’s AP and AR according to budget allowances
- Regular and predictable attendance
- Essential functions of this position are to be performed at a Company-designated office or field location
- Understand and comply with the Company’s Code of Business conduct and Ethics and other industry-specific professional and ethical conduct standards

About You: Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of proven experience in full cycle recruiting, sourcing, and employment branding, supporting a large geographic footprint – required
- Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience leading, coaching, and measuring a talent acquisition team – required
- Working experience supporting federal contractor (OFCCP, AAP, EEOC) compliance – required
- Experience in the energy, construction, or utility industry – highly preferred
- Prior diversity and inclusion program experience is required, including working knowledge of employee resource groups
- Demonstrated experience with continuous process improvement for talent acquisition
- Demonstrated experience working effectively in a team environment and remotely
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Demonstrated knowledge of the electrical transmission and distribution (T&D) industry highly preferred
- Experience and applied knowledge of applicant tracking system, candidate management tools, and government employment regulations
- Experience working with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, as well as serving as a strategic partner to senior leaders
- Advanced Microsoft Office software experience and software administration experience
- Demonstrated ability to influence (with and without authority) across all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated success in high volume full cycle recruiting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time as needed
- Excellent organization and prioritization abilities
What We Offer: Compensation & Benefits
- Salary $100,000-$135,000 / year
- Commensurate with experience, paid weekly. Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. MYR Group reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
