Job Summary:
This position reports to the Executive Vice President. This role exists to lead and manage the execution of the contract for the mutual success of our client, our strategic MLC partner, and our company. This position is responsible for ensuring technical and contractual requirements are met, supervising staff, monitoring, and reporting performance. Shipments entering the GSA Export Warehouse provided by partner must be processed within 1 business day regardless of the transportation mode. This position manages the inbound, cross dock, carrier approval, carrier usage, outbound dock, and proper training for team members in order to support the operations. This position will lead daily meetings to understand current status and weekly operations meetings to evaluate the prior week’s performance using C2C performance metrics and identify operational adjustments. This position also has requirements to brief the customer weekly on statistics and movement of freight. This position oversees the invoicing process and is responsible for validating all subcontractor and vendor invoices associated with the service provided.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
Work is performed in an office setting with ability to speak and receive phone communications often. Work requires computer usage with strength, dexterity, coordination and visual acuity to use keyboard and video display terminal and other office equipment. Moderate travel required to shareholder communities, subsidiary offices and other locations as needed.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The work requires routine walking, standing, bending, and carrying items weighing less than fifty pounds. Moving items over fifty pounds will be done using team lift. Must meet physical lifting requirements of 50 lbs.
