Organizational Overview
Founded in 1969, the National Council for Mental Wellbeing is a membership organization that drives policy and social change on behalf of nearly 3,100 mental health and substance use treatment organizations and the more than 10 million children, adults and families they serve. The National Council is a 501(c)(3) association that advocates for policies that ensure people who have mental health and substance use challenges have access to comprehensive, high-quality services. We also offer state-of-the-science education and practice improvement consulting and resources to ensure services are efficient and effective.
Position Summary
Under the supervision of the Director of Content Marketing, the Sales & Marketing Manager will serve as a liaison to the National Council’s Business & Strategy team. This position is responsible for the planning, implementation and analysis of go-to-market strategies that support sales, product marketing and brand development for the National Council’s products and consulting solutions.
Our team is seeking a manager to execute strategies that leverage multiple channels across all verticals to drive awareness and demand for the National Council’s assets and services. The manager will work with key stakeholders to understand the National Council’s products, services, differentiators and focus areas for revenue growth, while developing digital marketing plans that support them.
The ideal candidate is passionate about digital and non-digital advertising, account-based marketing, analytics and driving measurable results; someone who is detail-oriented, enjoys building marketing strategies in collaboration with a sales team and able to rapidly earn trust and credibility.
