Organizational Overview
Founded in 1969, the National Council for Mental Wellbeing is a membership organization that drives policy and social change on behalf of nearly 3,100 mental health and substance use treatment organizations and the more than 10 million children, adults and families they serve. The National Council is a 501(c)(3) association that advocates for policies that ensure people who have mental health and substance use challenges have access to comprehensive, high-quality services. We also offer state-of-the-science education and practice improvement consulting and resources to ensure services are efficient and effective.
Position Summary
As a Sales Marketing Manager, you are responsible for the planning, implementation and analysis of go-to-market strategies that support sales, product marketing and brand development for the National Council’s products and consulting solutions.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with key stakeholders to understand the National Council’s products, services, differentiators and focus areas for revenue growth, and then develop marketing plans that support them. These plans will leverage multiple channels across all verticals to drive awareness and demand for the National Council’s assets and services. Reporting to the Director of Content Marketing, this position will sit between our Marketing & Communications and Business & Strategy teams.
Successful candidates will be eager to demonstrate knowledge in digital and non-digital advertising, account-based marketing, analytics and their ability to drive measurable results. If you are detail-oriented and enjoy building marketing strategies in collaboration with a sales team, you will see quick gains in trust and credibility in this role. This is a new position that is especially well-suited for candidates who have an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for mental health and/or substance use treatment and recovery. It is also an individual contributor role without any direct reports.
