The Geospatial Intelligence Systems Acquisition Directorate (GEOINT) provides the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) with overhead imaging system mission capabilities. GEOINT personnel design, develop, and deliver the space systems that meet the nation’s requirements for gathering imagery intelligence information. The GEOINT COS office provides day-to-day support services to approximately 200 government employees and over 500 contractors within GEOINT.
Position Overview:
Looking for a new challenge supporting an exciting mission? The Geospatial Intelligence Systems Acquisition (GEOINT) Directorate, Chief of Staff Office (COS), Management Operations Branch (MOB), is looking for an energetic officer with exceptional collaboration, programmatic, writing and other communications skills to serve as Chief, Management Operations Branch. The incumbent will manage the day to day business and support operations for the GEOINT COS office. This assignment is a highly visible position in which the selected candidate has the opportunity to perform as a member of a high performing office and interact daily with senior managers.
Incumbent will exercise independent operational responsibility for planning and executing all Management Operations tasks as well as directing, planning, and supervising the business operations of the GEOINT Chief of Staff’s office. Incumbent responsibilities include, but are not limited to overseeing the GEOINT Directorate’s Action Group, ensuring actions are tracked, managed, and answered promptly; providing a full range of business process management to include the Directorate’s Continuity and Emergency Management and Management Control Programs; managing the Directorate’s records and information management program; and oversees the Directorate’s space allocation and logistics support. Incumbent is responsible for building and maintaining effective relationships with key personnel at all levels within the GEOINT Directorate and across the NRO.
