Performs (as a member of a crew) responsible semi-skilled and skilled work in the construction, installation, maintenance and repair of the City’s natural gas facilities.

Minimum Qualifications
Natural Gas Apprentice
• Graduation from high school or equivalent;
• Ability to work regularly and to perform manual labor in all weather conditions;
• Some knowledge of the use of common hand and power tools required in the work;
• Valid NC driver’s license and good driving record.
Work Schedule
Monday – Friday 8-5 or Monday -Thursday 7-5:30 or Tuesday – Friday 7-5:30. Paid bi-weekly.
24 hour, on-call duty once every five to six weeks
