Nauticus Robotics is actively seeking an experienced Software Developer to join our Software Team. We are looking for a motivated and experienced ROS developer who has experience with real-world robotic systems.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Bachelors in CS (or higher) with minimum 3 years working with C++ and Python on Linux
- Experience working with real-world robotics systems
- Experience with ROS
- Must be able to obtain a Security Clearance issued by the DOD
- Experience working on a software team
- Excellent communication skills
Preferred
- Understand Agile methodologies (Scrum)
- Experience with Git and Docker

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
While performing some duties of this job, the employee may be required to travel domestically and internationally. This role may also require exposure to a variety of construction and/or offshore platform job sites.
The performance of this position may occasionally require exposure to the manufacturing areas, which may require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields, mandatory hearing protection, and steel toe boots.
