Title: JD Edwards Functional (HR and Payroll)
Location: Houston, TX (remote is fine if we don’t find local candidates)
Duration: 3 to 6 months
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2 Functional HR and Payroll Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for the functional implementation, configuration, and support of the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2 HR and Payroll modules. You will play a key role in optimizing our HR and payroll processes within the JD Edwards system.
Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze HR and payroll business requirements, and design effective solutions using JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2 HR and Payroll modules.
· Configure and customize JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2 HR and Payroll modules to meet the organization’s specific needs, including employee data management, benefits administration, compensation, time and attendance, and payroll processing.
· Lead the implementation and deployment of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2 HR and Payroll modules, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
· Provide expert guidance and support to end users, troubleshoot system issues, and deliver training to maximize system utilization and user adoption.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as HR, finance, and IT, to ensure seamless integration and data exchange between JD Edwards EnterpriseOne and other systems.
· Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to HR and payroll processes, and recommend system enhancements to maintain compliance and operational efficiency.
· Perform system testing and quality assurance activities to ensure the accuracy and integrity of HR and payroll data within JD Edwards EnterpriseOne.
· Collaborate with the IT team and vendors to implement system upgrades, patches, and enhancements, while ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing HR and payroll operations.
· Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and user guides to support training and future reference.
· Stay informed about the latest JD Edwards EnterpriseOne updates and enhancements, and proactively identify opportunities to leverage new functionalities for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
· Extensive experience implementing and supporting JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2 HR and Payroll modules.
· Strong functional knowledge of HR and payroll processes, best practices, and regulatory compliance.
· Proficiency in configuring and customizing JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2 HR and Payroll modules, including hands-on experience with employee data management, benefits administration, compensation, time and attendance, and payroll processing.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into practical system solutions.
· Proven project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and deliver successful implementations within budget.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
· Self-motivated and proactive attitude, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Ability to adapt to changing business needs and priorities, and provide innovative solutions to enhance HR and payroll processes.
· Certification in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne HR and Payroll modules is a plus.
