Job Title: Jr Accountant / Accounts Receivable
Location: Sacramento
Compensation: $25-$28 an hour
Job Summary:
Established non-profit is seeking an Accountant to join their finance team. This role will be responsible for accounts receivable, budget preparation, generating reports and other accounting functions.
Job Title Responsibilities:
- Maintain third party billing records
- Assist with the annual audit
- Timely and accurately perform complex accounting functions for billing including manual third-party billing
- Follow up on claims
- Generate month end aging reports
- Process accounts receivable
- Assist with backup payroll and accounts payable when needed
Job Title Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Experience with budget preparation
- Extensive knowledge of GAAP
- 1-2+ years’ experience in accounting
