Job Summary
Spot by NetApp is looking for an exceptional, mission- and vision-oriented, Cloud Enterprise Account Manager to lead our sales efforts within a book of existing customers. Spot is a Customer Obsessed company, experiencing hyper-growth; hence, this person will lead with one goal in mind – driving growth, by solving customer pain-points around their cloud infrastructure and application delivery journey.
Spot, which was acquired by NetApp (NASDAQ: NTAP) in 2020, continues to run as a standalone startup under the NetApp umbrella, and enjoys the best of both worlds – innovation and agility of a startup, coupled with stability and reach of a big public company.
As an Enterprise Account Manager, you will ensure the success of Spot’s customer base by delivering world class customer service. The right candidate will love using data driven insights to identify opportunities for customers to adopt additional Spot products and expand their usage within their global organization.
Job Requirements
What You’ll Do
Primary ownership and accountability for ensuring customer growth, satisfaction, and retention within assigned accounts
Identify, develop, and recognize new opportunities for expanding your Customers’ business volume
Develop strong relationships with all key decision makers and influencers across external and internal stakeholders
Uncover and mitigate any risk that threatens your Customers’ growth, satisfaction, or renewal
Own all primary Customer communication and work with your Customer Success Engineer to ensure customer satisfaction and growth
Education
5+ years of experience as an Account Manager within a global B2B-focused SaaS company
Prior success maintaining and managing an active pipeline of forecasted sales to meet monthly, quarterly and annual quota objectives
Ability to align the value of the solutions to customers’ missions, KPIs, and/or business objectives
Excellent business acumen. You understand how to position, sell and negotiate value, calculate ROI, and you are deeply trained in strategic selling
You are never satisfied until your customer is an enthusiastic reference account and will do what it takes to help make your customers successful
Strong written and verbal communication skills
