New Mexico State University Grants, (located in Cibola County in Northwest New Mexico) has an opening
for Title V Student Program Coordinator, Sr. (Case Manager) Level 3, (40 hours per week, Monday – Friday 8-5) Salary
range $35,646-$41,903. Required Experience: Three (3)-years related experience Required Education:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field. No Equivalency.
The Case Manager will work with students, Student Services, and the
Student Success Center to streamline the onboarding and advising process, as well as monitoring student progress and requiring remediation
when necessary. The Case Manager will support the mission of NMSU Grants and focus on student success, academic persistence, student
retention and degree completion. The Case Manager will create connections with students during the pre-enrollment period, to include, but
not limited to engagement via recruitment events, orientation and registration, Academic Advising, student mentoring and tutoring.
- Work experience with both diverse and under-served populations
- Experience designing, planning, developing programs and
measuring outcomes for an academic setting - Experience with advising and supporting student goals
- Strong communication
skills and ability to create connections with students - Ability to use independent judgment and to manage and impart confidential
information - Ability to analyze and solve problems.
