Essential Functions:
Compile and input payroll data for hourly and semi employee payroll.
Analyze, prepare, and input payroll data for all hourly personnel.
Use automated system to produce accurate and timely payroll.
Facilitate management and employee understanding of payroll procedures.
Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal wage and hour laws.
Solve problems concerning payroll, answer inquiries, and enforce payroll policies.
Create and maintain hourly employee files and ensure compliance of personnel record keeping.
Assist with compiling and preparing payroll tax reports, unemployment tax reports and, various other payroll-related reports.
File and prepare personnel records for storage annually and assist with dispersing W-2 forms annually.
Assist in administering social security and employment eligibility verification for all employees.
Compile wage increase and child labor reports each pay period.
Responsible for submitting proper documentation for unemployment claims.
Manage FMLA software and paperwork for all US divisions.
Assist with dental and vision benefit enrollments and terminations.
Manage Cobra database for all new hires and terminations.
Train HR Managers and staff when needed.
Job Requirements:
High School Degree or GED.
Minimum of two years’ experience.
Strong communication, analytical abilities, organization skills and general knowledge of Adobe applications, Microsoft Office and Lotus Notes.
