The Duck Creek Senior Developer position will be responsible for development and support of custom applications in support of Duck Creek products and services. The use of Duck Creek proprietary tools coupled with industry common code management systems will be the majority of your day to day operations. By working with teams that include Analysts, Technology Architect, Business SME’s, and Project Leadership, you will have opportunities to grow your own skillsets, as well as establish the skills of those around you.

Required Skills:
Full understanding of technical software components: either a degree in the field, or job experience.

Proven ability to lead and teach

Experience in all areas of focus area

Excellent communication skills

Work in team environment as well as independently

5-8 years experience

Secondary Skills:
Work on project activities as they are assigned to you.

Application development

DB management

Onsite and remote involvement

Lead training courses

Build POC and curriculum

Lead development segments

Design solutions to business problems

Review work of Analyst and Developers

Collaborate with BA, QA, and PM

Provide Estimates

SME in a given area of the industry

Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of industry experience or equivalent training

Minimum 3 years of experience with Duck Creek. Development experience in Duck Creek Toolsets

Industry training can be substituted for Duck Creek experience in some cases

Soft Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must. Accurate and detail oriented are preferred

Highly motivated, team player, and self-starter

Can work independently and in a team environment

Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills

Ability to take ownership of customer issues and see through to resolution
