North Texas Real Estate R Hiring for Global and Diversity Programs Manager Job at Irving, TX Full Time

SUMMARY: This position is primarily responsible for creating awareness, education, networking and resource opportunities that support the success of our Members by coordinating and planning the activities of the Global and Diversity Committees. The program manager will have specific focus on global real estate and serving all MetroTex members through the Associations core values of diversity, equity, and inclusion.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepares meetings packets and meeting notifications for the Global Business and Diversity Committees and submits reports from these committees to the MetroTex Board of Directors for information and/or action.
• Regularly promotes the utilization of resources provided by the National Association of REALTORS®, the Texas REALTORS® and other reputable sources, as Global and Diversity real estate information sources communicates this to the Marketing and Communications department for monthly global and diversity updates that are conveyed to the membership.
• Utilizes the State-by-State International Business Reports published by the National Association of REALTORS® to identify existing or potential connections with other countries.
• Collaborates with the National Association of REALTORS® Global Business Division to update and expand the global business plan for the Association.
• Collects and assembles information required for the submission of the NAR Global Award Application
• Networks with local Chamber of Commerce, civic groups, neighboring associations, and local cultural groups to identify and create networking opportunities with ethnic and diverse communities.
• Creates an active ambassador program where MetroTex Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) and At Home With Diversity (AHWD) Designees serve as proponents of the global and diversity programs.
• Assists the Professional Development Director in creating local programs and education opportunities that stimulate an interest in diversity and international property buying and selling.
• Assists in hosting the CIPS Local Markets or Global Programs courses, and creates mini-courses and networking events for global practitioners.
• Travels to state, national and international industry conferences to participate in the diversity and international property committee meetings and forums and to establish and nurture relationships with NAR Affiliated organizations.
• Responsible for timely response to all departmental voicemail and email inquiries.
• Maintains company established filing and record keeping systems.
• Performs other related duties as assigned or required by management.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree (BA) from four-year college or university, or one to two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Computer skills required: Must be proficient utilizing Microsoft Office Suite, Internet Software, Adobe Pro
