Northrop Grumman’s Strategic Deterrent Systems (SDS) is seeking an HR Manager 3 to serve as a key leader on the HR and client program teams. In this role, you will be responsible for collaborating and influencing across HR, the client group, and our broader business, to develop and lead an effective human capital strategy for the client. There is great opportunity to shape both the business and HR organization in this role by bringing data analytics, business acumen, and strategic thinking to your partnership with business leaders and employees of all levels. The HR Manager 3 is responsible for leading a team of HR business partners to develop and execute HR priorities that align with business objectives. Emphasis will be in driving key workforce transitions and partnering with the business and HR team to support our growth. The successful candidates will excel at developing competitive and affordable human capital strategies in support of current and new business efforts, collaborating with program sites, programs, and functional leadership to provide guidance on a wide range of HR priorities to include developing leaders, culture change, performance management, employee relations, compensation, reward and recognition, succession planning, and talent acquisition.
This position directly support senior leaders through the VP level and requires the ability to listen, communicate, collaborate, a nd influence effectively across levels and functions. This role requires strong project management skills – with the ability to set and maintain accountability to execution schedules and commitments. It will be necessary to have the ability to navigate ambiguous cultural and business sensitivities to champion diversity and inclusion, performance, and employee engagement. This position will have direct reports and require travel on routine basis to support a geographically dispersed client group.
Basic Qualifications:
– Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret Clearance Preferred Qualifications: – Active Top Secret clearance – Demonstrated experience leading direct or indirect teams driving successful business and functional outcomes
Salary Range: $118,484.00 – $177,726.00
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay . Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
