Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Sector is seeking a Human Resources Assistant to join its Staffing Operations team. This is a virtual position and can be staffed in any US state with preference given to candidates in or around the Baltimore, MD area.
Roles and responsibilities of the Human Resource Assistant include, but are not limited to:
Coordinates interviewer and candidate availability, initiates calendar invites for the interviewers, and sends confirmation emails with details to the interview team and candidate(s)
Coordinates candidate travel as necessary and initiates expense reimbursement
Participates in special projects, supporting staffing initiatives within the MS sector
Solves problems by utilizing training, knowledge, tools, and analytical skills
Works in a high pressure environment with minimal supervision
Performs job duties while maintaining a high level of customer service
Utilizes organizational systems and Microsoft Office suite to maintain accurate and complete documentation
Maintains confidentiality of information
Basic Qualifications:
Must have one of the following:
High school diploma / GED with a minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience
Bachelor’s degree
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and calendar management
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
Applicant tracking system experience; Taleo and/or Workday preferred
Prior experience working in a Human Resource or Staffing support role within Northrop Grumman
Salary Range: $41,900 USD – $73,000 USD
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
