Summary of Role
NovaSource is seeking a HR Business Partner to support our rapidly growing organization. This position will report to the VP of HR. The HR Business Partner will be responsible for supporting the business by providing management and employees with a full range of human resources services across all functional areas. This will include employee relations, performance management, HR policy communication/interpretation, onboarding, offboarding, recruiting, training, communications, and coordination with HR outsource support providers. The position can be located either in Chandler, Arizona or Austin, Texas.
Key Responsibilities
Support the business through partnering with leadership and understanding its requirements and needs.
Assist in talent acquisition process
Serve as an Employee Relations resource to both management and employees
Provide support to employees on various HR-related topics, such as leave and
compensation, and resolve any issues that may arise
Assist in the development and implementation of human resource policies
Ensure compliance with labor regulations
Assist with compensation and benefits initiatives/issues
Ensure consistent and accurate HR operations, including but not limited to maintaining the HR system as the “one source of truth” for the organization.
Promote HR programs to create an efficient and collaborative workplace
Qualifications
Highly capable in implementing HR programs
CA employment and labor law experience preferred
Must have in-depth understanding of the principles and processes of the Human Resource function (e.g., payroll, talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, training, and performance management)
Excellent personal organizational skills, team collaboration, and project management skills
Strong experience in employee relations and change management.
Significant experience with ADP systems (Payroll, HR, WageWorks, etc.)
Strong computer skills utilizing Microsoft Office suite and other software systems
Strong oral and written communication skills with the instinctive ability to adapt to an ever-changing environment
Education and Experience
Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Human Resource Management
At least seven (7) years of experience as an HR Business Partner
Experience in a start-up or privately held organization is desired
Understanding of general human resource policies and procedures
Strong knowledge of employment/labor laws
Excellent communication and people skills
