Job Summary for Accountant/Bookkeeper:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and performing various accounting tasks. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of financial concepts, excellent analytical skills, and proficiency in accounting software.

Responsibilities Accountant/Bookkeeper :

• Maintain general ledger accounts by reconciling balance sheets and accounts
• Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information
• Perform account analysis and reconciliations to ensure accuracy
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Manage bank reconciliations and ensure timely deposits
• Assist with month-end closing procedures
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries and general ledger postings
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
• Support the preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper/ AP-AR or in a similar role
• Previous manufacturing environment a huge plus
• Solid understanding of financial concepts, including debits and credits
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Ability to analyze financial data and generate reports
• Knowledge of general ledger accounting principles
• Familiarity with account reconciliation processes
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
