Detailed Responsibilities:

• Ensures AR is properly stated and enhances company’s cash management.
• Provides solid leadership to the department.
• Surgical charge posting

• Drives development and establish goals and reporting tools.
• Motivate staff to perform assigned functions and achieve objectives.
• Coordinate daily activities of the department in order to provide adequate coverage.
• Reviews plans, policies, and billing procedures for existing and new services and recommends changes to ensure maximization of revenue.
• Ensures development of processes to make sure payer specific billing requirements are met, monitor and audit policies and procedures and ensure compliance and follow up with all standards and audits.
• Ability to interface with support departments and articulate issues and concerns.
• Processing mail.
• Preparation of Excel Reports for administrator and collection agencies.
• Contract review, update fee schedules in system.
• Interact with a variety of personalities and situations that require tact, judgment, poise and professionalism.
• Maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Organizational responsibilities: promoting patient rights; responding appropriately to emergency situations; sharing problems relating to patients or staff with immediate supervisor in a timely manner.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
