About The Role
The VP of Business Development is responsible for contacting, developing, and managing new payer and health system partnerships. This role is a highly visible, entrepreneurial role and a key lead in driving the sales strategy for new accounts. The position will focus on directing outreach initiatives to potential targeted executives or referrals made by the Chief Partnership Officer (CPO) and other Octave executives to pitch, evaluate opportunities and negotiate contract terms. This role requires someone who is mission-driven, hands-on, and comfortable with a fast pace and ambiguity.

Starting pay for qualified applicants will depend on a combination of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected salary range for this role is set forth below and this range may be modified in the future.
The salary range for this role: $150,00 – $250,000 base plus incentive
Additionally, this position is eligible for the following benefits: company sponsored life insurance, disability and AD&D plans. Voluntary benefits such as 401k retirement, medical, dental, vision, FSA, HSA, dependent care and commuter/parking options are also available. Octave offers generous Paid Time Off as well as paid parental leave benefits.
